Easy and Delicious Pound Cake Dessert Bar

Are you looking for a unique food theme option for your next party? A pound cake dessert bar is the simple yummy solution! I had so much fun at my latest get together putting this together!

Pound cake dessert bar!

Easy to do for a dessert social or simple gathering at your home.

To begin, choose some of your favorite flavors of pound cake such as lemon, chocolate, or maple!

Here is one of my very favorite recipes for pound cake. A yummy Lemon Lavender Pound Cake from The Spruce Eats. It is an easy recipe including some simple ingredients like cake flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, as well as lemon zest and dried lavender flowers. You can click HERE for the full recipe.

You can also add a bit of flair by using creative cake pans such as this one above from Williams Sonoma.

Once you have your pound cakes all made you can select the fruit toppings such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries oranges, kiwi and more.

The final step is the sauce and cream toppings! You can have toppings such as whip cream, raspberry sauce, chocolate sauce or hot butterscotch sauce.

Simply yummy!

Hope this idea is a hit at your next get together! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!

XO,

Sandra Maddox

Several years ago, in an effort to help our kids think about the true meaning of Christmas, my husband and I started celebrating the Advent season in a more deliberate way with them. Advent means “coming,” and Advent traditions help us keep our focus on the coming of the Savior in the midst of the glitter and hustle of the Christmas season. Here are some of our favorite Advent traditions and activities!
