International Textiles – Inspiration From India

Welcome, I hope you enjoy perusing these international textiles!

It is always inspiring to see both textiles and architecture from other countries! One of my friends came back from India and, when I saw the photos, I wanted to share some of the beautiful carvings and textiles with you.

Isn’t this lovely? I think that the bold colors look amazing when paired with the navy and white zig zag design.

All of these stunning textiles are from Kashmir, India. Many of the stores sold Cashmere in addition to silk. It must have been incredible to see this up close.

The ornate carvings are amazing! I love the magnificent display of artistry.

These ornaments and vases were all handmade using paper machete.
