The Color Yellow

“having the color of the sun or of ripe lemons.“

– Webster’s Dictionary

The color yellow is often associated with joy and sunshine! It is certainly one of the most vibrant hues and makes for a fabulous accent color.

If you are not feeling bold enough to add some yellow fabric, try integrating this fabulous color through an accent piece such as a vase. As you can see, a yellow vase can be a beautiful addition to your decor and would look wonderful with some blue or coral colored flowers inside. You could even get a pink or cobalt blue vase and fill it with yellow sunflowers! The possibilities are endless.

Having a dinner party? Consider using lemon wedges or whole lemons as part of the decor. A simple way to spruce up a table is by adding some floral arrangements. Placing lemons at the bottom of a transparent vase can keep the summer feel alive. Don’t forget to add some accent colors to brighten up the table! A simple set of white china plates with colored glassware can help lighten the mood. You might consider adding a brightly colored pitcher or some candles.

I hope you have fun utilizing the color yellow!
